Neat design

19 Sep

I will agree with Liz with her comment “Anil, you rock.”. His site design really does rock. I’ll upload a screen shot if I get a chance. Here’s the screen shot.

Great wiki article

19 Sep

Here is another Full Circle posting (I’m shortening down their name). This one is titled Great Wiki Article by Brian Lamb. I would like to come back here and maybe integrate some of this into the document that needs to be developed about wiki’s and just what makes a wiki a wiki.

Taking Your Website to the Small Screen

19 Sep

This is a great article posted on alistapart.com. For the most part I’ve stayed away from worrying about the issue of my web pages working good on “small screens”. The term “small screens” here really talks about PDAs, cell phones, blackberry’s, etc. And I need to get back here and look at some of the things they talk about. One thing to note (after reviewing the content) is that they are using the Opera browser for mobile devices. And they included this link that is the Opera site about building for “small screen’s”. There they talk about being able to have your local Opera software (if you have a copy on your PC) display the page as if it were on a “small screen”… I don’t have a copy on my home PC, but I’ll have to check at work…

Blogs and Bulletin Boards

19 Sep

Back in August I was reading my bloglines.com feeds and I came across this article that was posted on Full Circle Associates Online Interaction & Community Blog. I want to come back here and review the article. Not that there is all that much in the FCAOI&CB posting, but there are links on their site to other articles talking about this topic.
