This site (6 Time Management Tips for Bloggers) is a good list of things to remember for new bloggers (and in many ways just new web page developers)…

joke on liz’s site…
I’m trying to get through my bloglines list and I ran across this post on Liz’s site (mamamusings: i love the internets). Between her original post and Phil’s comment I was really LOL. I’ll have to remember to tell Lisa next time she calls.
Friday 5…
While reading Lilia’s blog I saw this post (My Friday 5: bloggers I’d love to meet) and this got me to thinking not only about who I would pick as my “5 bloggers” (and I’ll agree with Lilia that this list would be a “first five” and not a complete list) but also about this type of list posting. I already did one post like this and I’m still not 100% sure about it.
blacklist up on site…
I’ve got the latest WPBlacklist 1.22 up and running on my system. I haven’t had any problems yet with comment spam, but my frind Larry has been having some problems. knock…knock (knocking on wood)
Smiley Faces!
Ok… I thought before that there was some way to have a smiley face ( like  ) and for some reason it didn’t want to work correctly when I included the ; ) in my post. The reason is that I didn’t include a blank space before it. It seems that the scripts want to see a blank space first and I started off a line with it. (Yes, I know that the one I showed before has a space in the middle, that’s just so you all can see that I was entering a text smiley symbol.) Well, I went looking and ran across this post on WP Support that talkes about the Alexking plugin to add the list to your write/edit (and popup versions) pages.
Also, I found these links on other WP support pages listing other sites with extra smiley faces:
* Note: I just included the links that were posted that still work. In no way consider my putting the links here as any type of endorsement on my part. “Smiley Central” in particular
