I don’t know where to start commenting on this concept: (Jeff Nolan: Virtual Girlfriend) I think these quotes from Jeff’s post cover some of the “raised eyebrows” that I’ve got right now…
Just like the real thing, she demands that you pay a lot of attention to her and when you don’t she will call you or SMS you and want to know why.
What’s really fascinating about this is how the subscriber actually builds a relationship with the bot, which in turn learns and advances to new levels of play. But you have to be careful because you can get to the point where the v-girl proposes to you and introduces you to the virtual mother-in-law who will then proceed to call you in the evenings and ask you why are aren’t paying enough attention to her daughter.

I’ve been reading A List Apart for a long time and I totally feel these people are just GREAT!!!! I can’t say that I feel I totally understand everything they talk about the first time, but then again I’m still learning many things with CSS and they are still helping to write the book on what you can do with it. If you like to do web work and work with CSS I recommend going there and checking out their site.

I can’t remember how I ran across the PVP Comic, but I included it in my bloglines list and I must say that it’s great (IMHO) and I wanted to share these comics:
- CSI – This is SO Lisa and I… she likes CSI and I normally end up leaving the room so I don’t make “comments” about the show…
- World of Warcraft adiction? – This is a shout-out to Kev… hoping that he doesn’t get this adicted to WoW.
- Today’s on-line gaming issues… – ‘Nuff said
