A List Apart: Style Guide. This is a great guide not only as a point for where people are posting information on a web site (that is to say multiple people are posting to a single site) but also as a starting point for any multiple person object creation. I work in an area where often documents and “things” are created/updated by multiple people.
But then again… I’ve always really been impressed with just about everything that A List Apart has published.
I was telling Larry the other day that I was going through an on-line comic site looking to add more feeds to my bloglines/Google Reader list. Well, I one of the ones that I included is “Alpha State“. And I must say that I really like what I’ve seen of the comic (I only have the last hand full of sheets from when I included the feed to my list and I haven’t been able to go back and read all of the story yet.) But also I really like the way the site is setup. And how the storyboards are included in with the site. If you get a chance run over and take a look.
Now that we are in a new year I’m thinking about changing the “look” of my site. While I work on redoing the CSS/page-layout code and all I was thinking about grabbing one of the fine WP themes that are out there (I keep reading about them on my bloglines/Google Reader feeds.)
But while some of them look good they still really need some “modifications” to work with the site as I have it now. So for the time being I’ll keep looking or I might make some changes to some that I’ve downloaded and I’ll just go from there for now… you never know… Some of the ones that I’m looking at are:
