I’ve been thinking about getting back into doing more postings and I have been having some issues with the WYSIWYG editor that is with the 2.1 WP. So I started looking and didn’t get very far yet (but then again I just started). What got me thinking about this first was a discussion with Larry where we were talking about off-line WP editors (I seem to remember looking at ecto and really liking it but that was a LONG time ago.
Well, while looking I ran across this post (WordPress 2.1 – More Editor Options) which talks about a way to add more options on your WYSIWYG editor option for WP. (I had also heard about this on the WordPress Podcast but since I was at work when I listened to it and didn’t write down the key stroke I hadn’t tried it. Well, it does give the editor more options. And to be honest it seems that the problems I was having before with the WYSIWYG that comes with WP isn’t a problem now I’m thinking of using it while I’m on-line. I still want to keep looking for off-line options.
