Well, it seems that when I did my upgrade I decided to use a new plugin that says it can handle all of the upgrade steps. Well, it seems that there is at least one step that it didn’t handle. It didn’t turn my plugins back on. It turned itself back on, but not the rest. So my anti-spam plugin wasn’t on. That would explain why I was suddenly seeing spam hit my site again.

Yes, it’s been a number of days since I’ve posted. I won’t give any excuses since I don’t have any good “reasons” for not posting.
Tribute to Donnie Hoyle

Well, I went looking to see if there has been anything posted after the last You S*CK at Photoshop was posted and I ran across this tribute to Donnie Hoyle. It’s a session where some of the guild guys that Donnie “hung out with” are talking and the main one that kept popping up telling Donnie to get online is saying that Donnie needs a tribute. Also there are comments and a link to a site where people can vote for the YS@P series of posts in a few categories. Anyway, IMHO it’s a nice “icing” to go on the final YS@P cake.
Catching up with reading and blogs being hacked

Well, I’m trying to catch up with my reading and I’m seeing that some of the blogs (I won’t name them here) have recently been hacked. I’m seeing different reasons/excuses as to why sites have been hacked. Some of them are WordPress sites (like mine) and some don’t say. Going to keep reading to see if I can find out more…
It’s the end of a week…

Well, another week has come and gone… most of this week has been spent trying to “catch up” after being gone all of last week. The trip was good and the weather was very good last week. But now I get to look forward to temps in the low 40′s for my next trip. Yep, I’m flying out Sunday on my way to Ohio. Yipppeee…..
Swarm of spam comments
Well, just over the weekend I upgraded my blog and then I ended up getting a “swarm of comments full of spam”… since I seldom get comments it’s easy to know when I get spam *grin*. I doubt there’s a link to the upgrade and the comment spam run I just saw. I’m saying that because I’ve done a number of upgrades since I’ve seen this type of large hit.
