Well, I’ve been hearing comments on some WP podcasts and in some WP related feeds that Gravatars while neat have not always been the best. I’ve been hearing about server problems and things that slow down the sites that allow Gravatars. Well, now that WP 2.5 has built-in (and auto-activated) capability to display a Gravatar next to someone when they post a comment I figured that I’d look into it again. So, you should see a Gravatar next to your post if you have one. Let me know what you think about this option.

Well, it seems that WP 2.5 has a built-in gallery. I think this is something that I’ll have to look at a little more. Huh….

Well, while Lisa has been gone I’ve also been on a quick trip. My trip is for work and while it wasn’t my “first choice” of locations, it is what it is… Last year Craig and I went to Photoshop World Conference when they held it in Boston. This year the first one (they hold two per year) is in Orlando, FL. Not that I mind the temperature difference between Boston and Orlando at this time of year, but I kinda wanted to go back to Boston.

Well, for those that don’t know it, Lisa is back in Texas. She actually went back about 3 weeks ago. This trip is mainly so she could help Ashley (her niece) to deal with just having her second baby. Ashley is due any time now. They are going to do c-section again (Noah, her first, was also delivered by c-section) and Lisa wants to be there to help her. So, that’s where she is. She has our new digital camera and hopefully she’ll bring back some new picts and if so I’ll do what I can about uploading some here.

A few days ago (in case you didn’t know it) there was a movement to raise awareness about energy usage and the amount of damage we continue to do to the Earth.
