  Roni’s Must See Site

Roni’s main site is on my Weekend Read list. Not that it isn’t important… I can only have so many Daily feeds that I can’t keep up and I don’t want this put into one of my when I get around to it read this pile. This way I make sure that I read Roni’s posts when I do my weekend reads (which I missed most of last weekend… see below for more on that).

First about an article in Roni’s site called Thursday Thoughts. In this post she says:

Then I stumbled across this site showing examples of airbrushed models. How appropriate right? Please, PLEASE if you have a daughter or a young girl/women in your life show them these links. PLEASE

The link that she references is here. I’ll admit that it’s a very informative site that if I had anyone in my life that was of the age that this would be good I’d bring it up on their site. I wouldn’t e-mail it (since they might not actually look at it.) Not only would I show them the site I’d tell them that I know this is real since I can do the same thing with PhotoShop. (Thanks and waves to Roni for posting this…)

Last weekend… well, last Saturday I went to to the Maryland Ren Fest with some co-workers. Ashley and Hollie (who I don’t have active web sites for right now but if I get them I’ll cross-link) both work with me. (I’m very lucky to be working with these talented people.) And Ashley’s Mom and 4-year old son came also. We had a great time. Hollie and Ashley both had cameras and I haven’t seen Ashley’s yet but what I saw that Hollie took they were great.

I thought my niece’s (Cydney’s) 8th birthday party was Saturday… I thought it was going to be Sunday since that’s her actual birthday, but for some reason my Brother decided to have it Saturday. So I went from the Ren Fest straight to their place for the party. Sunday I was in the “Susan G. Komen Maryland Race for the CureĀ®”. I only walked (vs. ran) the 5K but it was a good (cold morning) day and it was a good cause.

So, I’m just now catching up with my posts and readings…
