Wow… I just realized that there’s a problem with my site design… I’m not going to say just where (if you see it then you know if you don’t then maybe I’ll get it fixed before you do…

Well… I decided to go for a walk today (eating a bad breakfast helped me to decide to do it now) and while I was walking around the track I listened to the The Definitive Word podcast (you can find out more also about at Simply Syndicated site for The Definitive Word site, the previous link is at Podcast Alley). The episode that I listed to today is about “personal image”. It’s a good podcast that can really get thoughts going around on who you are and what you see yourself as topics.

So… I have an issue with dreamhost with my upgrade to WP… now I just need to track the issue down… I did the upgrade but it was harder than it needed to be.

Ok… after doing a little more digging I found out that what I thought was right. It always seemed strange that people would pay to go to Hell’s Kitchen to sit there and for the most part not be fed. I’ve seen people wait an hour for an appetizer and that’s amazing (and on that show is common)… well… all of this is on a sound stage. Again… not really a surprise. When I saw one of the people get hit by a chair (the “chef” was walking a chair to the front of the dinning area and hit one of the customers in the head with a chair I couldn’t believe that nothing happened other than “sorry, I’m not really a violent person”). If you want to “be on the show” (and I can’t really call it much of an eating experience) then there are ways to get a hold of some of the producers and casting groups. It’s always possible that you’ll be seen in one of the “walk around” shots of people in the dinning areas… if you do that let me know… I’d like to get a first hand comment back on what it’s like.

Ok… a little more about Hell’s Kitchen…

1. I can not believe these people and the comments they say when they are doing their “one-on-one” time with the camera. In many of these “reality” type shows they give the contestants the time to have “one-on-one” with the camera. I like those “peeks” into the way the people think and speak about what’s going on. But I can not believe what some of these people say about Chef Ramsey and the other people on the show. I agree that you should stand up for yourself and all… but some of these people are deluded… I think that’s about the only way to describe the comments that they make. “Oh…. here she comes, the pretty one, I’m sure she can’t cook”… that was said by a woman who honestly needs to look in a mirror…. “pretty” or “cute” or “attractive” are not words that come close to her. She’s not “bag on the head” but she isn’t many beers away from that… and as far as her cooking… well…. ’nuff said.
