Looks like we might be dodging another bullet this week since we are going to get rain instead of snow this week. But as always we’ll see what happens as we go down this path.

So we are now bracing for the next wave of snow to hit us. Lisa was joking about trying to get a flight out to hit San Antonio. But she was just joking. We are hunkering down. I’d hate to say “mother nature, do your worst” because she just might do it… ha ha ha.

We are now in 2010 and there are many things going on and that are on my mind. The next few months will hold impacts for many of us… I just hope and pray it all works out.

I’m sure the surgery and all will work out well. And .knock. .knock. Things with Tad, my Mom, and Dad’s health stays good…

A number of good movies are starting soon… I’m not even sure which movies I’m more interested to see… but Avatar is one of them that are near the top of my list.

So… it’s now early in December and it’s snowing outside. It’s not a lot of snow or anything… but it’s the first real snow and that’s a cool thing to say. We are getting ready for the holiday season. This is a Texas Trip this year so we’ll be spending part of the season there. Wishing everyone a very snowy but safe day.

Can you believe that it’s November already? Time seems to be passing a lot faster now adays…. Ever since Bruce put up some of his pictures from when he was in the Air Force I’ve been thinking of doing something like that… the issue is that I don’t have many pictures at all of that… not to say that I don’t have any… I don’t have many at all of ME during that time frame… Well…it’s something I’ll have to look into… big boxes of photos over there I guess I’ll start going through….

What’s been going on…

It seems that it’s been awhile since I last did an update here and I’ll see if I can do that now. Most of what’s been going on has been posted on Facebook. And that’s for a number of reasons… not that I can’t update both places… in many ways it might be best if I did post key things on both. But also there are things that are posted on FB (Facebook) that I won’t post here (they are things directly tied into Apps on FB).

So… Lisa and I had a great time in Boston. We’ve decided to start doing a vacation every fall. The next one might be in AZ, or it might be where we go to the new The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park opening up in the spring of 2010.

Lisa is now back in Texas. She left last Tuesday (the 29th of Sept). Her niece (Jess) had her wedding yesterday (congrats to Jess!). Beyond that there isn’t a lot more to say.

Except that I’ve reconnected with two of my friends from my time in the Air Force… Tim Mayfield and Bill Obermiller.

Most of my time in the last few days my focus has been more on my Dad. He just went through a procedure. I’m not going to go into the details of his medical condition. I’ll just say that he is doing very well and that’s what really matters.

Well… many things have been going on but since I also post on Facebook and Twitter then you might not see as much here. But here is some news.

The biggest news: Wandering Geek is BACK!!! And needless to say I’m very happy. Just go to http://wanderinggeek.com and take a listen.

Also I got Hopscotch from netflix and am watching it… it’s been a long time since I’ve seen it… It’s not “Wandering Geek” but it’s really good.

More? Lisa and I are planning a trip… if you want to know more… just ask.
