Spent a good part of Friday during the day with Cydney and Riley, and my Dad. We went to see “Kung Fu Panda” (it was my second time). It was a good day.

Warhammer Online

Matt sent me an email with a link to a trailer to the new game being developed called Warhammer Online. Like I told him, “it looks like a very cool game, and they had me until the word ‘online’ came up.”. I have a standing rule about not buying a game and then having to pay per month to play. Well look for the game and if you are ok with paying to play a game then it looks neat.

Also of note: Caleb told me he had heard that the game was going to be released with only a small set of what was originally to be included. He said that it is more than likely that they will just release the rest of the funcions as “expansions” and make people pay for it.

New Punisher movie

I’m sure that Larry will be happy about the soon to be released movie Punisher: War Zone. Different actor and IMHO a better plot line.

Dr Horrible part 1

Ok Normally I wouldn’t post this, but I just had to… I was reading this article and when there was a mention of Josh (you know the guy who wrote Firelfy) I just had to go over and watch Dr Horrible, Act I. While I admit that a video that starts off being based as a video blog and then goes on to be a 15 minute movie was a surprise, at the end I enjoyed it. Hope you do too.

Well, yesterday Lisa went back to Texas for a quick visit. A friend of Tad (her Father) passed away last weekend and Lisa went out to spend a little time with her dad. But she’ll be back Thursday (so we can go to Game Day this coming weekend)…

Lisa has been using her Food Diary as a way to help her not only track what she’s eating and how much she’s working out but also she using it as a support system.

One of the things that she reads on there is a set of Note to self where people have written up items that they want to pass on about things that they think. Some of them I find useful or at least humorous. So, I’m going to be posting some of them from time to time.

Yes, it has been awhile since I’ve posted. I just wanted to comment that I really like Firefox 3. To me, anyone who is still using IE is just asking for problems… but that is just MHO.

Indy Jones IV

Well, Friday Lisa and I went to see the latest Indy Jones movie titled: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. And I must say that it wasn’t bad. It’ll never compare to the first one, but it’s my 2nd favorite movie on this line. If you’ve seen it what do you think? Or what do you think of the other movies?

wii fitness

Well, my wife (Lisa) called me about a month or so ago to tell me that I had already picked out and purchased her anniversary gift. Oh… *raised eyebrows* I felt the need to find out what I had got my lovely wife. Well, it seems that I (read: she) had found the Wii Fitness online and had pre-ordered it.

If you aren’t sure what a Wii Fitness is then I’m providing a few links:

Found out something new about living on the road

Larry recently shared a link to an article about a couple who are living in a converted bus (now it’s an RV). As I was reading the article I noticed this section.

One way we have reduced clutter is by going electronic. Bills are paid online through a service. Paper bills are received at their facility, scanned, and emailed to me. We pay our taxes electronically. All our banking is done over the internet. We keep in touch with friends and family through email, our blog, Twitter, and phone calls. News, weather, and entertainment arrive via the web. We take digital photos and even conduct meetings using on-line conferencing software.

And I’ll say that I was surprised about a company who provides the online capability of receiving people’s bills, scanning them, and sending them or putting them on their site for the remote person to view/download/etc. Anyway, enjoy the article.
