JavaScript Class

Here are my JavaScript Class assignments: (All source links open in new window)

I made a change in the format of this page. Now it’s just a list in reverse order:

Week 14: Monday (Apr 30, 07)

Week 12: Wednesday (May 02, 07)

  • Here is my “Final Lab Project” where we are working with the images in DHTML
  • Growing Test – The list of images at the top were found on-line for a “joke” project. The way the system works is you can click on one of the thumbnails and it will put the image in the “big box’ and then it’ll “grow” it up to 800×600. You can click on the big image and it will “shrink” back to “nothing”.

Week 13: Monday (Apr 23, 07)

  • Still working on project. No update posted yet.

Week 12: Wednesday (Apr 25, 07)

  • Got to class a little late (was teaching a PowerPoint class).

  • Note: Actually I did this last week during the snow day. I did updates today (Monday) to make it “look better”. And during class I included the “countdown timer” so that the page would auto-reload every 30 seconds.

Week 2: Monday

Week 2: Wednesday

  • Lab 02: Write a script that selects 3-10 random digits.
  • Source: (html)

  • Lab 02 (Expanded): I expanded the lab 02 (above) to have it show the response from the computer (if the person guessed it or not) in a “static” area. I knew from previous readings that you could “replace” text on a page if it was in an identified span or div. That’s what I did here.

  • UPDDATE: I found out that the above version doesn’t work with IE. See the work I did in the first lab of week 3 to see the updated version.

Week 1: Monday

  • Lab 01: Have page change background colors three times with prompts.
  • Source: (html)

Week 1: Wednesday

  • Lab 02: Code JavaScript that asks the users to enter their weight in pounds.
Convert pounds to stones and display on the page.
